All Eden wants is to rewind the clock. To live that day again. She would do everything differently. Not laugh at his jokes or ignore the way he was looking at her that night. And she would definitely lock her bedroom door.
But Eden can’t turn back time. So she buries the truth, along with the girl she used to be. She pretends she doesn’t need friends, doesn’t need love, doesn’t need justice. But as her world unravels, one thing becomes clear: the only person who can save Eden … is Eden.

My thoughts
This book was Definitely something. When reading this book I felt sad and happy at the same time, Scared and excited! I could not get enough. Smith addresses some pretty heavy topics in this book that had me sobbing. Eden is a fourteen year old girl that's just went through a life changing experience. Her brother's best friend, Kevin, who she had trusted her whole life and was practically family did something unforgivable that Eden will never forget, so if she can't forget that night she'd rather forget herself, who she was that terrible night.
Eden completely reconstructs herself in two years (or four parts )from the nice, geeky girl that would never break curfew, to a rule breaking delinquent, she cuts and dyes her hair, starts drinking, smoking, skipping school, lying to her parents, going to parties and sleeping around with college guys, all before and during the age of sixteen. She vows to never let anyone take advantage of her the way Kevin did.
Smith did an amazing job with this book not once was I bored. Most sexual assault books focus on the day the result and the justice they don't really get into detail or the healing or the long term damage but this book was different it had me going through the five stages of grief!
But I will say Eden kinda pissed me off a couple off times especially when she gets a boyfriend,.. it was just so frustrating to read, But overall it was a great book
5 stars for me!
