Dear Readers, I advise you to read this after it ends with us*
Review By Hassana Jibril
plot
This the second book after it Ends With Us And it begins where the first book left off, Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled on a civil coparenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into Atlas again. After nearly two years separated, she realises that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But she is quickly disappointed by the knowledge that Ryle is still part of her life and would not be happy knowing Atlas is part of his daughters life.

my thoughts
After reading it It Ends With Us I didn't really think there was going to be a second book like i saw no need. Lily left Ryle and I guess I could use my Imagination to pretend she gets with Atlas, happy ending right? I guess Colleen didn't think so because she gave us a second book no one asked for and I'm definitely not the only one who thought that because it has 3.86 stars on goodreads, with 1,767,569 ratings, 34% of them being four stars, I think it's fair to say most people didn't like it.
I personally thought it was boring and dragged on. Atlas has a delinquent vandalizing his restaurant and Lilys looking after her shop and her daughter while trying to keep Ryle at bay because she doesn't want to lose custody. woah what an INTERESTING storyline. I was very disappointed to find it so hard to read. it took me three months to read the whole thing I was halfway through and I just couldn't do it anymore, it sat on my shelf for weeks just half read.
if it ends with us was about lily, why did Colleen Hoover work so hard to try and make atlas into a sexy hero? the only thing i could give it ends with us merit for was the message of breaking the cycle (even that is up for debate). this did not need a sequel at all.
I could go on and on about the things I didn't like or why it didn't need a sequel but I think you guys get the point. I will say I'm glad lily got her happy ending and i didn't need to Imagine what her life would be like with Atlas because Colleen gave us a whole 323 pae book about them.
2.8 stars for me
